eBay is well known for its user-friendly listing process. Whether you’re a seasoned seller or new to the platform, there’s no need to stress. Setting up payment methods for standard fees.If you’re serious about selling your product on eBay, there are a few steps to follow, including: Setting up your seller accountįirst, you’ll want to set up a seller account. With roughly 182 million active buyers on the site, eBay listing search engine optimization is the key to unlocking a large audience with intent to purchase. If you would like to terminate and then reauthorize a desktop-based service, you would need to communicate directly with that service and ask what they support. It helps to envision eBay as a search engine similar to Google. In all cases, your data will remain on your computer. A third-party subscription may affect either the interface to eBay or your access to your stored data. I can't speak for specific programs, but generally, if you use a listing service that has a desktop tool, the items that you create, or download back to your computer, will permanently reside on your computer until you uninstall or delete that data. The out-of-stock control can not be applied to auctions. A listing hidden this way can be resurrected for a day and can then be rehidden until needed, thus extending its online lifespan indefinitely. If hidden for more than 180 days, eBay retires/purges the listing. When using the out-of-stock control, the listings are hidden from public view but still use up monthly insertions. You can understand my frustration after being a Turbo Lister user for donkey years!Īny help would be gratefully recently extended the GTC out-of-stock listings from the original 90 days to a new 180 days. Loads of them lost the associated photos and now about half of them won't even open. I recently transferred 130 'winter' listings to my drafts from the unsold section before they were deleted. I can just about cope with the online Selling Manager normally but it's biggest flaw is that drafts are only stored for 30 days and the unsold listings stored for 90 days. My question about Wonderlister is, what is it you pay for? Is it to be able to upload your listings? So if I subscribe for 1 month to sort out my listings to store, then cancel my subscription and then reactivate in March to upload the summer items, would that work? Can I still use the program without a subscription? Or is it that I have to continually pay? My understanding is that the listings will be stored on my computer but what happens to them if my subscription is cancelled? Sorry, to jump onto this but I have a similar requirement to sun_bun as I have about 400 'summer' items which in a few weeks time will not be relisted until March next year. Thank you so much for your Customer Support That way, the trouble you had about having to create a listing over and over is fixed but you only get 50 templates so it might not work for ya, but it could be used to store almost all the data that makes up a listing and then your filling out pictures, titles and that would be it! If by chance you are selling generally the same things each season, eBay's free - Seller Hub allows you to create 50 templates which can hold all the data that makes up a listing. Currently that have a free 30 days trial so I recommend giving them a go to see if it's a good match for you. Their software goes onto your computer and all the data files, pictures, descriptions, everything about a listing gets stored for later use so that you don't have to recreate the listing. I just want to use it (or some other tool) to periodically save all my listings (sold or otherwise) so that I can go back, retrieve and re-list an item in the future without having to re-create the listing from scratch.Īny advice? Anything is most appreciated! I downloaded WonderLister and, quite frankly, I prefer using the eBay system to create the listing (probably just what I've become accustomed to). My biggest in-efficiency is having to re-create a listing that I've already done once, twice or more times in the past. I may sell an item and then have another to list after the sold listing has been removed from the eBay system. My biggest need is a simple and effective way to archive my listings so that I can retrieve and re-list an item listing maybe 3, 6 or even 12 months down the road. I have around 250 listings or so and plan to increase that over time. All, I hope you can provide some assistance.
